Overview
Wonde is a trusted third-party integration that Atomi uses to connect with your school's Student Information System (SIS). Instead of manually sending us data whenever something changes, Wonde automatically syncs student and teacher information for your mapped classes to your Atomi account every night.
That means fewer emails, spreadsheets and manual updates to chase. Because the data comes directly from your SIS, it's always accurate. And because Wonde handles the data transfer, Atomi only receives what's needed for your setup.
Data flows from your school's SIS through Wonde to your Atomi account automatically.
Automatic syncing only applies to classes that are actively connected through the Wonde integration. Not every class in your SIS is synced by default.
How your data reaches us
Wonde audits the data from your SIS before it reaches Atomi, so we only receive what we need to get your integration and classes set up.
This includes:
Student names and emails
Teacher names and emails
Class names, Class IDs and Year Levels
Your Atomi account reflects your SIS directly, with Wonde acting as the secure connection between them.
How it works
Here's the basic flow from setup to ongoing sync:

1. Submit a connection request from Wonde
You submit a connection request for Atomi via the Wonde School Portal.
2. Wonde connects to your SIS
Wonde connects to your SIS so data can flow through to Atomi. Wonde conducts an audit process to ensure your data appears correctly in their API before Atomi can access it.
3. Atomi sets up your classes
We map your Wonde classes to your Atomi classes and the relevant curriculum based on your Atomi subscription.
4. Your integration goes live
Student and teacher updates made in your SIS are synced with Atomi each night.

What still needs your input
Some changes to your class setup require a request to our team, or can be managed directly from your Atomi account.
Syncing new classes from your SIS. If you want a class that's already in your SIS to be synced through Wonde, let us know and we'll get it mapped for you.
Creating classes that don't exist in your SIS. If you need a class in Atomi that isn't in your SIS (for example, a Study Skills class), you'll need to either point us to an existing SIS class to use as a placeholder or send us the data manually so we can set it up.
Removing synced classes. To remove classes from your Wonde sync, contact provisioning@getatomi.com and our team can unlink them from your integration. Classes not linked to Wonde can be deleted from Atomi by one of your Admins. See Editing or deleting a class for step-by-step instructions.
Rollover periods. At year-end, we will help set up your Students with early access to any required classes. Contact our team at provisioning@getatomi.com or reach out to your Customer Success Manager for help.
FAQs
Can I turn off the daily sync?
Yes. If you need to pause syncing, reach out to our support team and we can switch it off. You can turn it back on whenever you're ready.
What happens if the data in my SIS is wrong?
Wonde syncs whatever is in your SIS, so if something is incorrect there, it'll flow through to Atomi. Update the data in your SIS and the corrected information will sync to Atomi the following morning.
Does Wonde sync every class in my SIS?
No. Only classes that have been mapped through the Wonde integration will sync. If you'd like to add a new class, let our team know and we'll set it up for you.
Can I add students to a class manually if they're not in my SIS?
Yes. An Admin can add students directly to your Atomi account, and Teachers can add students into their own classes. Further information can be found in our support articles:
Keep in mind that students who aren't in your SIS won't update automatically (for example, if their timetable changes between terms). If the student is in your SIS but not in the right class, updating the class assignment in your SIS is the best approach.
