Wonde connects your school's Student Information System (SIS) to Atomi, so your classes, teachers and students stay in sync automatically. This guide walks you through requesting the connection, approving it and going live.
Before you start
To connect Atomi with your SIS through Wonde, your school needs to have Wonde installed. Wonde is free for schools and requires minimal setup on your end. Once the connection is approved, Wonde handles the technical work.

Setting up Wonde with Atomi
Step 1: Submit a connection request
You can request the Wonde connection through the Wonde School Portal or by email.
Option A: Through the Wonde portal
Your Wonde Admin can request the connection directly. It takes a few minutes.
Go to the Wonde School Portal and sign in with your school admin credentials.
Click Discover apps in the menu.
Type Atomi in the search bar at the top of the Discover page.
Click the Atomi listing when it appears.
Click the Get app button on the Atomi profile page.
Click Next on the introduction screen to continue.
Select Yes when asked whether your school already uses Atomi (if it does but isn't yet connected through Wonde). This lets Wonde notify Atomi that you'd like to connect.
Option B: By email
If you'd prefer not to use the portal, or run into any trouble, email provisioning@getatomi.com and our team will make the request on your behalf.
Include the following details in your email:
Your school name (full name)
Your school address
The SIS your school uses
The best technical contact at your school (name and email)
Step 2: Wonde connects to your SIS
Wonde receives the connection request and will reach out to your school’s technical contact to get everything started. They connect your SIS with Wonde so data can flow through to Atomi.
Wonde conducts an audit process to ensure your data appears correctly in their API before Atomi can access it. They will guide your technical contact through whatever is needed.
What to expect: Keep an eye on your inbox (or let your technical contact know to expect an email from Wonde). This step usually takes around 3–5 business days for new connections.
Step 3: Atomi sets up your classes
Once Wonde is connected to your SIS, they will notify the Atomi team that the audit is complete.
The Atomi team will message your technical contact to confirm which classes you'd like to sync with Wonde.
We'll map everything to match your Atomi subscription.
For classes that exist in your SIS: Provide us with the relevant class codes or IDs and we'll handle the rest.
For classes that don't exist in your SIS (for example, a Study Skills class): You'll need to either point us to an existing SIS class to use as a placeholder or provide the data you'd like us to use to build the class manually.
What to expect: Class setup takes 2–3 business days once the connection is live. Our team will confirm with you when everything is ready.
Step 4: Your integration goes live
Once your classes are mapped and set up, your Wonde integration is active. Any updates you make in your SIS, like adding or removing students from a class, are synced with Atomi each night.
Good to know: Changes you make in your SIS during the day will be reflected in Atomi the next morning.

Can I add more classes after the initial setup?
Yes. Email provisioning@getatomi.com with the class codes or IDs you'd like added. Allow 2–3 business days for changes.
What data does Wonde sync with Atomi?
Wonde syncs class enrolments, student details and teacher assignments from your SIS to Atomi. The sync runs nightly, so changes in your SIS are reflected in Atomi the next morning.
What happens if my school changes SIS?
Contact support@wonde.com and their team will work with us to connect with your new SIS.
Is Wonde free for my school?
Yes. Wonde is free for schools. There are no fees from Wonde for setting up or maintaining the connection.
