Sentral doesn't have one export that covers everything, and student email addresses in particular aren't reliably available as a standard bulk export. See Troubleshooting below for the workaround.
One thing worth knowing: Sentral recently renamed its class-building tool from "Class Builder" to "Class Creator". If your school's menu still says Class Builder, it's the same tool under an older label.
Prerequisites
A Sentral login with Administrator or Global Admin access, or access to the Sentral Setup module (cog icon).
Access to the Admin Enquiry module, if your school has it. Availability depends on your state or sector's data system, so it varies between government, Catholic and independent schools.
If your school uses Class Creator, check you're set up as a Class Creator Administrator, and that every staff member has an email address on their Sentral account.
Where to find each export
Classes, subjects, year levels and teacher names: if your school has it, click the Admin Enquiry menu item, then the Exports tab, then the Classes menu item. This is the closest thing Sentral has to a combined export. If you don't have Admin Enquiry, click the Class Creator menu item, then the Tools menu item, then the Export button, for roll classes and year levels, and check your timetabling system (for example Edval) for subject data.
Teacher email addresses: click the Sentral Setup icon (cog), then the School Information menu item, then the Export Staff Details button.
Student email addresses: not a confirmed standard export in Sentral. See Troubleshooting below.
For the exact, current click path and any options specific to your school's setup, see the Sentral Help Centre or log a support ticket from within Sentral.
Note: Once you've exported this data, head back to Preparing your data for import into Atomi to format it using the Atomi Import Template and send it through to us.
Troubleshooting
I can't find a way to bulk export student email addresses. Sentral's documented export fields capture a contact email for people linked to a student, built for parent and guardian contacts, not necessarily the student's own school email. If your students have accounts through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, export those addresses directly from there instead. If you believe your school's Sentral setup holds student email addresses, log a ticket with Sentral support to confirm the export path for your configuration.
The Admin Enquiry module isn't showing up in my menu. Not every Sentral school has this module. Use Class Creator for year levels and roll classes, and check your timetabling system for subject data.
Teachers are missing from my export, or their email column is blank. This usually means the staff member doesn't have an email address attached to their Sentral account. Click the Sentral Setup icon, then the Manage User Accounts menu item, find the staff member, click the Edit icon, and add their email.
My class export doesn't show subjects. This usually means you've used the Class Creator export rather than Admin Enquiry's Classes export. Class Creator is built for roll classes, not subject-based timetable classes.
Where to go for help
For anything specific to Sentral, including which exports your school's setup supports, go to the Sentral Help Centre or log a support ticket from within Sentral (click the Help Centre button, top right of your screen, then select the Lodge a case menu item). You can also reach Sentral through their support page.
