Upload a unit plan you've already built and get it back with Atomi lessons, videos and quizzes matched to each topic using our teacher planning tool. Here's how.

Before you start

  • Planning in Google Docs? Go to File > Download > Microsoft Word (.docx). Please note that other formats aren't supported.

  • Remove any personal or identifying information from your document.

  • This feature is in beta, so give the recommendations a quick review before you use them.

Add Atomi recommendations to your plan

1. On the Classes dashboard, click the Get recommendations tile in the quick actions row.

2. On the Get Atomi recommendations page, start typing your subject in the Subject dropdown, then select it from the list. You'll also see a reminder to remove any personal or identifying information from your document.

3. Under the Upload your unit plan heading, click the upload area or drag and drop your .docx file.

4. Click the Get recommendations button. Atomi takes about a minute to match content to your plan.

What's in your downloaded plan

Each topic includes a short list of matched Atomi content. Every recommendation shows:

  • The title, linked to the content on Atomi

  • Whether it's a lesson, video or quiz

  • How long it takes to complete

  • A one-line description of what it covers

Your original wording, tables and layout stay exactly as they are. The recommendations are added under the relevant topics.
