In this small group, face-to-face professional development course with industry leader Sam Di Sano we'll introduce you to the basic concepts of a flipped learning approach to deepen the learning experience for your students. You'll engage with colleagues from the same syllabus area to consider a topic and how you might invert the structure of your lessons to a flipped approach. You'll then consider complementary teaching and learning strategies including the use of your LMS for online discussion and blog entries, or quizzes and summaries using online resources and technologies. By the end of the course, you'll have successfully modified your chosen lesson plans to incorporate a flipped methodology.
