In this small group, face-to-face professional development course you'll gain a greater appreciation of how digital technology impacts on teaching and learning. We'll dive into how bringing video content into the classroom can deepen the learning experience for students. We'll work in small subject-specific groups to consider a topic of your syllabus and what relevant video material can be used to add value to your teaching and learning. We'll cover strategies for the effective use of video learning, including the use of your LMS for online discussion and blog entries, or quizzes and summaries utilising online resources and technologies. By the end of this course, you'll have successfully selected appropriate video content for a lesson or topic of your choice and constructed appropriate associated activities.
