What is AI Feedback?
When answering a short answer question, students will now receive personalised feedback with their responses. Atomi’s AI generates this feedback to help students identify where they might have gone wrong and how to improve.
This feedback is designed to be clear, helpful and delivered in supportive and encouraging language.
How can I access AI Feedback?
AI Feedback is available to Students on short answer questions across a range of subjects in Years 7–10.
AI Feedback is available at no additional cost on all paid Atomi subscriptions. Our standard subscription fees include all of our powerful AI features, such as strength scores, revision recommendations, automatic marking and now AI Feedback.
How accurate is the AI-generated feedback?
Atomi AI is carefully trained, evaluated and tested in the context of the hundreds of millions of questions answered on Atomi. This training enables Atomi’s AI to reliably deliver feedback that accelerates learning and meets the expectations of the teaching community.
As a teacher, can I see AI-generated feedback provided to my students?
Currently, teachers are unable to see students' written responses and AI-generated feedback.
We aim to have this functionality available to teachers in Term 4, 2024.
Where can I find Atomi’s AI policy?
Atomi is committed to using AI tools to enhance the educational experience while ensuring ethical practices, transparency, and the protection of user data.
This policy outlines the principles and guidelines to benefit students, teachers, and the entire school community.
We have aligned Atomi’s AI policy with the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools and ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
How does Atomi protect the privacy of student data?
Atomi is a Student Privacy Pledge signatory committed to protecting student privacy.
AI Feedback occurs entirely within the Atomi platform, with no data sent to third parties. Anonymised student responses to questions may be shared with a third party to improve Atomi’s AI model. However, no data about the student is shared.
You can learn more about the types of data we collect, how we use and store data and your rights in our Privacy policy or the Security, privacy and trust section of our help centre.
