What is AI Feedback?
When answering a short text-based question, students will receive personalised feedback on their responses.
Each extended response receives comprehensive feedback broken into two clear sections:
What they did well: Students will receive scaffolded feedback aligned with the syllabus.
How they can improve: Every piece of feedback includes actionable tips to improve their marks.
Giving students meaningful feedback that breaks answers down to support learning and growth.
This feedback is available on all text-based extended response questions for all year levels.
How can I access AI Feedback?
AI Feedback is available to students on short answer questions across a range of subjects for all year levels.
AI Feedback is available at no additional cost on all paid Atomi subscriptions. Our standard subscription fees include all of our powerful AI features, such as strength scores, revision recommendations, automatic marking and now AI Feedback.
How accurate is the AI-generated feedback?
Atomi AI is carefully trained, evaluated and tested in the context of the hundreds of millions of questions answered on Atomi. This training enables Atomi’s AI to reliably deliver feedback that accelerates learning and meets the expectations of the teaching community.
As a teacher, can I see AI-generated feedback provided to my students?
Teacher review mode provides insight into measuring student understanding by providing an overview of all written responses. You can view student responses to all question types, including responses to AI Feedback-powered questions.
Where can I find Atomi’s AI policy?
Atomi is committed to using AI tools to enhance the educational experience while ensuring ethical practices, transparency, and the protection of user data.
This policy outlines the principles and guidelines to benefit students, teachers, and the entire school community.
We have aligned Atomi’s AI policy with the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools and ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
How does Atomi protect the privacy of student data?
