Atomi has native LTI integration with Moodle, allowing you to find, preview and directly embed Atomi lessons and quizzes to share with your students from within Moodle.

Depending on the Moddle permissions within your school, you may need an administrator to add the Atomi app.

Adding the Atomi plugin to Moodle

Open the Site administration page:

  1. Click the Plugins tab

  2. Select Manage tools from the Activity modules list

Add the Atomi plugin using the Add tool field

  1. Copy and paste the configuration URL: https://api.getatomi.com/nucleus/api/lti/config

  2. Click Add Legacy LTI

Enter the following credentials:

  1. Consumer key: atomi

  2. Shared secret: atomi

  3. Click Save changes

The Atomi plugin will now appear until Tools.

We now need to allow for ‘Deep Linking’ to access and embed Atomi content from within Moodle.

  • Open tool settings by clicking on the ⚙️ icon

Configure Atomi plugin:

  1. Under Tool configuration usage, select ‘Show activity chooser as a preconfigured tool’

  2. Under the Default launch container, check the ‘Supports Deep Linking (Content-Item Message)’ box

    1. Paste the Tool URL into the Content Selection URL field

  3. Click Save changes

You will now see the Atomi plugin when you select an activity or resource from the activity selector.
