Navigating the mark book

The mark book is divided into three filtered views: Marks, Tasks and Subject completion.

  1. Marks show you how your class performs in any Atomi lesson containing a quiz or assessment.

  2. Tasks let you see who in the class is completing the work you’ve assigned through a task.

  3. Subject completion shows you who in the class is engaging with the content and by how much.

Each section of the mark book has a Student column on the left-hand side. The top row within the column shows the class average, and each subsequent row shows the students within the class.

Students who still need to register will appear only by their email address.

Each filtered view (Marks, Tasks and Subject completion) has an Overall average column showing the average class and student marks or completion percentage for the subject.

If a student still needs to start with the content, it will appear as Not started in this column.

The Marks, Tasks or Subject completion deep dive sections explain how we calculate the data in each filtered view.

By default, the mark book shows you student attainment and engagement data at a high level.

Wherever you see the expand icon, you can expand the column to the next level down. So, for example, you can expand a module to see its topics.

To collapse the expanded module, click on the contract icon or expand another module to see more details within another topic.

Sorting data in the mark book

Each column heading is interactive and will sort the table based on your selection.

You can sort students alphabetically, and data with a score or percentage can be sorted in descending or ascending order, allowing you to easily see who has the highest score or engagement across a subject, module or topic.

  1. Click the Download button to generate and download a .csv file of the results presented.
